Katsucon 2015 - Feb 13-15 2015 - Volunteer Registration

Volunteers Needs You!

Katsucon is looking for people who want to help make the convention the best it has ever been. If you are attending Katsucon and are looking for something to do between panels, contests and events, Volunteers has a spot for you! Along with our staff, attendee volunteers help Katsucon run by supporting almost all of our departments.

Volunteering Vitals:

1. All Volunteers must be 16 and over.
2. Volunteers who are 16 and 17 must have the VOLUNTEERS parental permission form, on Katsucon's Website, signed and ready to work.
3. Signing up to volunteer is a guarantee to work. Those who sign up and do not inform Volunteers via email that they will not be able to volunteer will be unable to sign up to volunteer for the next Katsucon. Volunteering at other departments without coming to Volunteers first is regarded as a no show for those on the sign up list.
4. On Thursday (the day before Con opens) you will not need a registration badge to volunteer.
5. Friday thru Sunday you must have been registered and have a registration badge to exchange for a time card and Volunteer badge.
6. Volunteering work is first come, first served. We cannot guarantee any openings in any department.
7. We do NOT have a set schedule. You will NOT be contacted about setting one up. If you wish to have hours you must come to the Volunteers desk to receive a volunteering spot.
8. Volunteers are to be aware that their behavior is to be an example for other con goers. Should your behavior not be to the standard of the Con or the Hotel you will lose any and all incentives earned, no longer be allowed to volunteer, and possibly be removed from the Con.
9. For those staying in Crash Space failure to complete needed hours will result in a permanent ban from volunteering at Katsucon.
